Instructions
Step 1: Bake the Cake Base
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line cake pans.
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time.
Sift flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to wet mixture alternately with milk.
Pour batter evenly into pans. Bake for 22-25 minutes. Cool completely on wire racks.
Step 2: Prepare Buttercream
Beat butter until creamy. Add powdered sugar slowly.
Mix in vanilla and cream. Whip for 5 minutes until light and fluffy.
Step 3: Assemble the Cake
Layer cakes with buttercream between each.
