Cake Base:

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Buttercream Frosting:

  • 600 g powdered sugar 5 cups

  • 3 tablespoons heavy cream

Edible Blood Filling:

  • ½ cup seedless raspberry jam
  • 2-3 drops red gel food coloring
  • 1 teaspoon chocolate syrup optional for depth

Instructions
 

Step 1: Bake the Cake Base

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line cake pans.
  • Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time.
  • Sift flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to wet mixture alternately with milk.
  • Pour batter evenly into pans. Bake for 22-25 minutes. Cool completely on wire racks.

Step 2: Prepare Buttercream

  • Beat butter until creamy. Add powdered sugar slowly.
